My husband and I adopted two handsome senior dogs from the Humane Society, Costello (now 8 1/2) and B.J. (now 12 1/2). They are both doing well!
Costello’s earned the nickname “Kissy Costello” because he loves giving everyone lots and lots of kisses! And by lots and lots, I mean easily over 100 kisses a day. He wakes up every morning, wagging his tail and kissing everyone in the house. He is so precious! His favorite thing to do is go on car rides and smell out the window. Every morning after kisses and a potty break, he goes on a car ride around the neighborhood. We call this is “morning routine” and he gallops around the house in excitement when we ask if he wants to do his “morning routine”. He still loves meats and cheeses as his treats of choice. He also loves to show off how well he knows his tricks and he is super duper smart! He seems to take a lot of comfort in having his doggy sister, Harmony, around and she has been a big helper with helping him feel more confident and comfortable.
B.J. is as handsome as ever. Sometimes when he’s laying down, his little cheek turns up and it looks like he’s smiling. His favorite thing to do is eat, and he can smell food a mile away! He also believes that we should share any and all food with him. He usually gets his wish! He also enjoys watching TV. We have been working with our vet and chiropractor on his back and back legs and that has been very helpful for his mobility. He doesn’t seem to be able to hear very well so Harmony lets him know if she hears something and they go running together to try to investigate what she heard. They are a cute team. Thank you for letting us adopt these two sweeties. They have been a wonderful addition to our lives. They fill our house and hearts with lots of love and cuteness!
