Adoptable dogs are listed below. Information is automatically updated in real time as animals become available or are adopted.
Visit the adoption center at our shelter to find the perfect companion animal! We will do our best to ensure the right fit and a smooth transition.
Visitations can be done either by drop-in during our adoption hours (10 am – 7 pm weekdays or 10 am – 6 pm weekends) or you can schedule an appointment to meet with a specific animal ahead of time. To schedule ahead of time, contact us by phone at (234) 212-9843 or email at adoptions@summithumane.org, and an adoption counselor will return your message.
Adoption Fees
- Under 1 year: $250
- 1 year to 7 years: $150
- 8 years or older: $75
Senior to Senior Program
For adopters age 60 or older, the adoption fees for animals 3 years and older will be reduced by $50. This service is made possible through the Pets for the Elderly Foundation. You will be asked to provide proof of age.
Veteran Pet Program
Veterans and active military personnel receive 25% off of adoption fees. Valid military ID is required.
