Give through your Donor-Advised Fund
If you have a donor-advised fund (DAF), you can recommend a grant to the Humane Society of Summit County directly through your fund provider.

Create a legacy of compassion
When you include the Humane Society of Summit County in your will or estate plans, your compassion for animals can continue for generations to come. A legacy gift can make a lasting difference and does not require a gift today.

Make an impact with stock or your IRA
Gifts of appreciated stock or assets from your IRA may offer another meaningful way to help animals in need.
Giving Stock
If you would like to make a gift of appreciated stock, please contact our Development team. We’ll provide the information you or your financial advisor need to complete your gift and help ensure that HSSC can properly identify and acknowledge it.
Giving from Your IRA
If you are age 70½ or older, you may be eligible to make a Qualified Charitable Distribution (QCD) directly from your IRA to the Humane Society of Summit County.

Check with your employer’s Human Resources or Benefits team to see whether your company offers a charitable matching gift program. If it does, search for the Humane Society of Summit County and follow your employer’s instructions to request your match.
